A man convicted of killing an 18-year-old woman nearly three decades ago has taken a related drug case to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say 16 people have been charged in a methamphetamine distribution operation in central Wisconsin. The charges were announced Friday by U.S. Attorney Scott Blader in the Western District, the FBI, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul and local officials. Two duck hunters who became disoriented in the Eldorado Marsh were rescued with the help of a drone and a DNR warden in a kayak. The hunters from Appleton and Neenah called the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning to report they were lost. The Rock River in Waupun continues to recede following this week’s flood. Waupun Emergency Management director B.J. DeMaa says the Fond du Lac Street corridor was reopened Thursday morning. DeMaa says River Road is still closed, but all other roadways in the city are open.
