10-28-19 prison sentence in fdl credit card fraud, skimming case

10-25-19 beaver dam woman charged in death of two year old son

A Beaver Dam woman is charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the February death of her two year-old son.  Twenty seven year old Amanda Trost made her initial court appearance this week.   According to the criminal complaint, Beaver Dam police were called to Trost’s residence in February for a report  that her son was not breathing.   The child was pronounced dead at a hospital.  An autopsy determined his cause of death  was […]

10-25-19 ixonia woman convicted of helping convicted killer hide body

A 21-year-old Ixonia woman has been convicted of  helping a convicted killer  hide a Beaver Dam man’s body at the Dodge County property where she lived.  Dakota Schlesner was found guilty of aiding a felon in Dodge County Circuit Court.  She faces up to one and a half years in prison when she is sentenced in January.  Schlesner was initially  charged with  party to a crime of hiding a corpse.  Twenty one year old Nigel Schultz […]

Fond du lac police are investigating a reported sexual assault of a teenage girl at Lakeside Park.  A woman told police that her 14 year old daughter told her that on October 14 a man told her to get into his vehicle and he sexually assaulted her.  The mother said her daughter reported  it to school officials but they told her to report it to police.  She says the incident occurred east of […]

Kwik Trip has launched online ordering and delivery on EatStreet for 11 stores throughout Fond Du Lac, Oshkosh and Sheboygan.  The service is available for  more than 400  items and comes on the heels of Kwik Trip and EatStreet launching  delivery in several other cities, including Appleton and Green Bay.  According to a company press release the two Wisconsin-based companies came together after years of customer inquiries into when Kwik Trip would launch delivery.  […]
