10-24-19 unemployment rate down

The local unemployment rate is down in the latest reporting period.   The state Department of Workforce Development says the September  unemployment rate in the city of Fond du Lac is 2.9 percent.  That’s down from 3.8 percent in August.    The Fond du Lac County jobless rate fell six tenths of a percent to 2.7 percent.  In Dodge County the  unemployment rate last month was 2.6 percent, down three tenths of a percent from August.
