(AP) — Wisconsin's Josh Kaul has joined a multistate coalition of attorneys general investigating Facebook over antitrust issues.  The bipartisan group includes attorneys general from more than 30 states as well as from the District of Columbia and Guam.  The probe was announced last month . 10-23-19 ozaukee county sheriff’s office says they have solved cold case homicide

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in eastern Wisconsin say they know who killed an 18-year-old woman in 1984.  The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday announced a suspect they believe killed Traci Hammerberg. Hammerberg was found fatally bludgeoned and partially naked in the driveway of a Town of Grafton home nearly 35 years ago. 10-23-19 man sentenced to prison for attacking fdl law enforcement officers

A Portage man convicted of attacking two law enforcement officers in Fond du Lac is going to prison.   Fond du Lac judge Gary Sharpe sentenced  32 year old Troy Kratz  to six years in prison followed by six years extended supervision.    Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says he’s pleased with the sentence.  "We take attacks on our law enforcement officers incredibly serious,"  Toney told WFDL news.  Kratz was convicted […]

10-22-19 fdl railroad crossing closure

The Fond du Lac Public Works Department says the West Division Street railroad crossing west of Brooke Street is closed this week.   The closure is currently in place and the crossing  is planned to reopen Friday, October 25.    The railroad crossing is closed to allow Canadian National to make repairs at the railroad crossing.

10-22-19 long prison sentence for rubicon man convicted of 5th owi, intimidating victim
