A Fond du Lac judge has dismissed a temporary restraining order against the city clearing the way for demolition of a vacant Fond du lac convent building barring appeal.  Judge Robert Wirtz issued his order Wednesday afternoon dismissing a temporary restraining order by the owner of the Sisters of the Holy Nativity Convent on West Division Street.   The restraining order was filed last August after the city approved a plan to raze the building, which was damaged by an arson fire in June 2015.  But Fond  du Lac city manager Joe Moore told WFDL news the owner has made no significant effort to repair damage since the fire.  Moore says the only work that has been done on the building since the fire has been repairs to the roof.  Moore says the building was vacant for a long time before the fire.
