A Beaver Dam man is going to prison in connection with a fight and threats to police. Dodge County Circuit judge Martin De Vries sentenced 41 year old Dale Lengling to a year and a half in prison and three years extended supervision for battery, threats to a law enforcement officer and bail jumping. Police say Lengling was involved in an altercation with another man at a Beaver Dam residence in May. According to a criminal complaint Lengling resisted as he was being taken into custody, bashing his head on the divider of the squad car causing a laceration to his forehead. Lengling made multiple threats to an officer when he was being treated at a hospital for his injuries. According to the complaint a month later while on bond Officers were dispatched to Lengling’s apartment again where he made additional threats against officers.
