MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Republican co-chair of the Legislature’s budget committee has filed a lawsuit seeking to force Gov. 11-20-19 dodge county man sentenced to prison in domestic violence case

A Dodge County man convicted of physically assaulting his wife and threatening law enforcement officers is going to prison.  Dodge County Circuit judge Steven Bauer sentenced 35 year old Darren Kemppainen to three years in prison and eight months of extended supervision.  He also received a three-year term of probation.  Kemppainen was arrested in November 2018 following a domestic incident at a Clyman residence.    According to a criminal complaint Kemppainen's wife had visible bruising and […]

11-20-19 water boil advisory lifted in st. cloud

A water boil advisory has been lifted in the village of St. Cloud.  Village trustee Dan Dreifuerst says a water main leak was repaired Monday afternoon and village officials got the all clear early Tuesday afternoon to lift the advisory.  Dreifuerst says settling in the ground apparently took its toll causing the water main to crack.  The advisory was issued early Monday morning  due to low water pressure in the system.
