11-19-19 fdl county high speed chase update-deputy suffered minor injury

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff says it turns out a deputy was injured while apprehending a high speed chase suspect over the weekend.  The chase started on Interstate 41, with speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour , ending on Highway 67 in Lomira.   Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says following the chase, the driver fled on foot and then resisted  as he was being taken into custody.  The initial press release said […]

11-19-19 bottled water made available to st. cloud residents

Bottled water is being made available to village of St. Cloud residents as a boil water notice continues.   The boil advisory was issued Monday due to low water pressure in the system, making  tap water potentially unsafe  for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth and food preparation.    Bottled water was made available for village residents Monday night and again from 6pm to 9pm  Tuesday night at the St. Cloud Fire Department.   Village trustee Dan Dreifuerst […]

11-19-19 hit and run driver crashes into waupun garage

A driver was cited for hit and run after crashing his vehicle into a garage in Waupun over the weekend.  The crash happened around 7pm Sunday on North Drummond Street.  Police say the vehicle was located about an hour later and the driver was cited  for failure to report an accident and hit and run.  Police say roads were slippery at the time of the crash.

(AP) — About 200 soldiers from the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s Red Arrow Brigade are back in the United States after a stint in Afghanistan.  The soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry returned to Fort Bliss in Texas on Sunday.
