Authorities say a Wisconsin woman and her teenage daughter are among the victims of a tour helicopter crash in Hawaii that killed all seven people on board. Authorities say Amy Gannon and her 13-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, both of Madison, were among the victims of a tour helicopter crash in Hawaii on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019. Gannon was one of the co-founders of the Doyenne Group, a nonprofit that supports and mentors women entrepreneurs. The helicopter had been set to tour Kauai’s rugged Na Pali Coast, the remote northern shoreline of Kauai that was featured in the film “Jurassic Park,” when it crashed on a mountaintop Thursday. Kauai police confirmed there were no survivors based in part on the nature of the crash and impact damage.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
