The Fond du Lac city council has approved a bike share program.  The council approved the resolution at their meeting this week for the agreement with Zagster that would enable the city, in partnership with Alliant Energy, to initiate the program.   Community Development director Dyann Benson says Alliant has offered to sponsor the bike share for two years.  After each year, ridership data  will be assessed to determine if its worthwhile to continue the program.  Bike […]

Six people have been arrested in Green Lake County for sex trafficking.  The  Green Lake County Sheriff's Office says they received a 911 call November 28 from a juvenile who said she had escaped from a residence where she was being sex trafficked.  Police executed a search warrant  W2964 County Line Road in  Manchester, Wisconsin, where they seized multiple items of evidence believed to be connected to the assault of the juvenile. As part of the ongoing investigation into the multistate outbreak of E. coli infections, Wisconsin health and food safety officials have found E. coli  bacteria in an unopened bag of pre-washed chopped romaine collected from an ill person’s home.
