Waupun police say they are investigating an alleged animal cruelty complaint that was posted on Facebook.   Deputy police chief Jeremy Rasch says the incidents allegedly occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Monroe Street approximately two months ago, but were not reported to police until late Thursday night while officers were handling a theft complaint at the residence.   Rasch says a welfare check was conducted and the dog appears healthy and  uninjured.  He […]

One person is dead following a two vehicle head on collision in Dodge County.  The crash happened shortly before 9:30am on state Highway 33 near Hidden Valley Drive in the town of Beaver Dam, about two and a half miles east of the city of Beaver Dam.   A driver in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.   The driver of the other vehicle was transported with non-life threatening injuries to an […]

No. 2 Ohio State will seek an unprecedented third consecutive outright title when it faces No. 10 Wisconsin in Saturday's Big Ten championship game. Firefighters have brought a huge fire in a commercial building north of downtown Milwaukee under control. Winds gusts of up to 30 mph fanned the flames at the three-story building early Friday morning. The partially collapsed building housed Metro PSC and a hair salon. Fire officials say no one was injured. The blaze closed nearby Clara Mohammed school for the day.
