The Fond du Lac School superintendent is starting a monthly conversation with district residents. Starting Friday January 31, Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert will be hosting “Coffee with the Superintendent.” The goal is to invite residents to a casual monthly gathering to discuss school District issues. The first event is scheduled for 9am next Friday – January 31 at the Aquatics Center building.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
