1-14-20 oshkosh father convicted in infant son’s death

An Oshkosh father has been convicted of causing his infant son's death. Twenty-nine-year-old Cory Lyons pleaded no contest Monday to first-degree reckless homicide in the Nov. 29, 2018, death of his 7-week-old son. A criminal complaint says Lyons admitted he was frustrated by the baby's crying and shook the child five or six times. 1-14-20 trial date set in fdl child sex assault case

A  trial date has been scheduled for a Fond du Lac man accused of sexually assaulting a young  girl.    A five day jury trial for 53 year old Ronald Williams is scheduled to begin May 4 on charges of first degree sexual assault of a child.   He was bound over for trial last summer.    Before the trial another hearing is scheduled for April 27.  Williams is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail […]

1-14-20 fdl man ordered to pay restitution in stalking case

A Fond du Lac man has been ordered to pay restitution to the woman he was convicted of stalking.   Fond du lac judge Dale English ordered 32 year old Aaron LeMay pay the victim $1734.  Last fall LeMay was placed on probation for two years.  A six month jail sentence was imposed and stayed after Lemay entered an Alford Plea to felony stalking.  An Alford plea means the defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges  […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has approved a member of the Georgia National Guard to serve as the Wisconsin National Guard's new sexual misconduct ombudsman. Evers' office said Friday that Lt. Col. Brian Bischoff's duties will include helping victims in sexual assault, sexual harassment and retaliation cases. He will provide a quarterly report to Evers.
