Wisconsin health officials announced that a child has died from the flu in the southeastern part of the state. The child was under 10 years old and died on the way to the hospital. 1-13-20 january fdl county board meeting cancelled

The Fond du Lac County Board will not meet this month.   The County Board of Supervisors have filed a petition with the County Clerk’s Office to cancel the January 21 board meeting due to not having sufficient business to warrant a meeting.  The next Fond du Lac County Board meeting will be held Tuesday  February 11 at 6pm.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Authorities say an elk was found dead in northern Wisconsin after it ate corn put out by a landowner in a misguided attempt to help wildlife. The Department of Natural Resources said the animal found dead on Jan. 2 died from rumen acidosis. 1-11-20 appleton man convicted in fdl county high speed chase

An Appleton man has who led  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies on a 29 mile long chase on Interstate 41 with speeds up to 107 miles an hour has been convicted.    Ladonaven Brown has pleaded no contest to eluding and resisting an officer both as a repeat offender.    Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss sentenced Brown to six months in the county jail with Huber priviledges.   Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says deputies terminated […]

1-11-20 woman arrested in death of fdl infant

A woman has been arrested in the 2018 death of an infant in Fond du Lac.   The 26 year old former Fond du Lac resident faces charges of first degree reckless homicide in the death of  2-month old Rehloari Pankey-Brown.  The woman  was  arrested Thursday  in Milwaukee by Fond du Lac Police Detectives.  On June 25, 2018 police were called to a home in the 100 block of E.
