A Dodge County man has been convicted in a drug related robbery.  A  jury found 29 year old Tommie Plummer guilty of unarmed robbery with  threat of force and burglary.   Police say Plummer and another man broke into a Watertown residence demanding money and marijuana.   Plummer later told detectives he didn’t understand why a drug dealer would call police to say he had been robbed.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says the driver of a speeding car that crashed into a tree last month, killing himself and three others, was under the influence of  methamphetamine. A Dodge County man has been convicted of his fifth drunken driving offense.  Sixty two year old Charles Hawley was arrested last April near the town of Elba.   Hawley had a revoked license, a non-titled, non-registered vehicle and no ignition  interlock device installed on the vehicle.

A prosecutor in Ohio has recommended a one-year sentence with credit for time served for a 17-year-old boy charged with making hoax 911 calls to authorities in a half-dozen states. The Warren Tribune Chronicle reports David Dorbish Jr. entered guilty pleas Wednesday in court in Youngstown, Ohio, to multiple counts of making terroristic threats, making false alarms, identity fraud and telecommunications harassment. A group of Fond du Lac business leaders will unveil plans for a new Lakeside Park development plan including updated pavilion and other park improvements at a  public meeting this month.  In addition to the pavilion,the plan includes an island amphitheater, ice rink, wharf bistro, boat docks, history museum and walking paths and boardwalks.  A public meeting is scheduled for 5pm Monday January 20 at the Fond du Lac Lakeside Park Pavilion.   The plan was […]
