A Fond du Lac man faces multiple charges following a violent domestic incident. Shortly after 9pm Monday police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Marys Avenue for a report of a physical altercation involving a knife. The incident happened following an argument between a woman and her ex-husband. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says a male acquaintance of the female arrived at the scene and attempted to intervene. “The suspect apparently armed himself with a knife and began to threaten the other male subject. There was a physical altercation that broke out,” Klein told WFDL news. Klein says the male victim suffered cuts from punches that were thrown. A 37 year old Fond du Lac man was arrested on numerous charges including battery, recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct while armed.
