2-28-20 fdl residents help fight hunger

todayFebruary 28, 2020

Hundreds of Fond du Lac residents are helping in the fight against hunger next month through a partnership between Fond du Lac churches and the nonprofit Feed My Starving Children.  Event co-coordinator Alisa Roberts says over 900 volunteers will make a difference by hand-packing more than 171,000 meals in one day.   The event will  be held Saturday, March 28 at the Fond du Lac County Fairground Recreation building.  Roberts says residents can support this MobilePack by making a donation to cover meal costs or by volunteering to package food at the event.  Volunteer registration will be available from February 28 until the day before the event.  To learn more you can log on at fmsc.org.   Roberts says Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide.
