2-8-20 waupun man charged in domestic incident and high speed chase

A Waupun man has been charged in connection with  a domestic incident and high speed chase.  Anthony Ashford made his initial Dodge County Circuit Court appearance this week on multiple charges including strangulation/suffocation.  Bail was set at $7500 cash.  Police were called Tuesday to a Beverly Court residence for a report of a physical domestic incident.  Ashford  left the scene before police arrived, but was located a short distance away and  a mile long […]

2-8-20 beaver dam bank robbery-the latest

Beaver Dam police continue to investigate a bank robbery from earlier this week.   Police say the Chase Bank was robbed Monday night when a man handed the teller a note demanding money.  Police say the bank robber implied he had a weapon but no weapon was displayed.  The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, sunglasses and a white mask.   Anyone with information is asked to call Beaver Dam Police.

2-8-20 lomira man faces charges after spitting on police officer

A Lomira man faces multiple charges after spitting on a police officer at a Super Bowl party.   Jason Moore is charged with discharging bodily fluid, bail jumping, lewd behavior, resisting and disorderly conduct.   Police were initially called to Moore’s house on Super Bowl Sunday for a domestic disturbance and when officers arrived Moore locked himself in his house.  According to a criminal complaint Moore’s wife told police that Moore was drunk and had become argumentative […]

Fond du Lac Public Works says a portion of East 12th Street will be closed next week.  Beginning  Monday East 12th Street  between Main Street and Marr Street will be closed through Monday,  February 17.  The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore two water services on 12th Street.

2-8-20 boys fall through ice at fdl county fairgrounds retention pond

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Police say two teens have been arrested after a man was found fatally shot in Sheboygan.
