MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new study from a government watchdog group shows Republican legislators' campaign accounts dwarfed their Democratic rivals at the end of 2019. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has suspended study-abroad programs in South Korea and China amid concerns about the coronavirus. School officials said Wednesday that they had suspended the South Korea program. The move affects five students studying at two South Korean universities this spring. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin elections officials plan to debate how to spend a new $7.8 million federal election security grant. The U.S. Elections Assistance Commission plans to make the money available to the state if the commission can come up with a matching $1.56 million. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic Gov. Tony Evers has vetoed a Republican-authored $250 million income tax cut bill. Evers vetoed the bill Wednesday at an elementary school in Wauwatosa, arguing that the Legislature should instead back his plan to spend more on education. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Police say the gunman who opened fire at one of the nation's largest breweries in Milwaukee killed five employees before taking his own life. Police identified the assailant who attacked the Molson Coors complex as a 51-year-old Milwaukee man who worked there. 2-26-20 man charged in fdl meth bust

A Fond  du Lac man has been charged in what police describe as the largest methamphetamine bust ever in the city of Fond du Lac.  Bail was set at $300,000 cash for 35 year old Adrian Irby on six counts including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 6.  According to a criminal complaint police confiscated more than three pounds of meth valued at more than $148,000 during a traffic […]
