2-24-20 waupun laundromat fire

Nobody was injured in a fire at a Waupun Laundromat.  Shortly before 6pm Sunday Waupun firefighters were called Waupun Laundry, 26 Brandon Street, for a report of a dryer fire.   Upon arrival, fire was visible in a dryer and smoke was filling the building.   An occupant in the building attempted to use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire before crews arrived but was unsuccessful.   It took crews  one hour to put […]

2-24-20 fdl street closure

A portion of East Scott Street will be closed this week.  Fond du Lac Public Works says  East Scott Street between Park Avenue and Mohawk Avenue will be closed beginning Monday, February 24 and remain closed through the end of the day Thursday, February 27. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore a water service on East Scott Street.

2-24-20 vice president pence to make campaign stop in wisconsin

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for President Donald Trump next month in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Trump campaign announced Friday that Pence and his wife Karen will appear March 5 in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The couple will visit St. Paul the same day. The visit will come just two days after Minnesota holds its presidential primary as part of Super Tuesday.
