The investigation continues into a fire that destroyed several storage units at a storage complex in the town of Friendship this week. Student Excellence Scholars include Lillian Wahl of St. Mary’s Springs Academy in Fond du Lac and Ripon High School senior Theodore Rauch. A convicted child sex offender has been released back into the Fond du Lac community. The Fond du Lac Police Department says John Bunch, served 26-years in prison for first degree sexual assault of a child. Bunch was convicted in 1993 of repeatedly sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl. Bunch was previously convicted of False Imprisonment in 1985 in Kenosha County. Shortly after 11pm Monday firefighters from several departments were called to Barber Enterprises storage units in the town of Friendship.
