The latest Marquette University Law School Poll shows a dramatic surge for two Democratic presidential candidates that mirrors what has been happening nationally. Bernie Sanders is up by double digits in the latest poll, the first time since last August he has been on top. “It is and its the first time in six months that Joe Biden hasn’t been at the top,” poll director Charles Franklin told WFDL news. Franklin says Sanders is the only Democratic candidate who leads president Trump. “That’s right. We have Sanders up by two over Trump, that’s within the margin of error. Three others are tied.”

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
