3-17-20 high speed chase-fdl

Nobody was hurt and the driver of a car is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac.  It started about 11pm Monday when a sheriff’s  deputy observed a southbound vehicle on Hickory St. travel through the red light at Johnson St. at a high rate of speed.    The vehicle continued  southbound on Hickory St. failing to stop at a stop sign on Hickory St. and the signal at Military Rd.  The vehicle lost control in the roundabout on Pioneer Road, rolling several times.  The driver fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.  The driver is charged with OWI third offense , operating after revocation, operating without an ignition interlock device, unreasonable and imprudent speed, violating a red traffic light, no insurance, displaying unauthorized license plates, felony fleeing, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and bail jumping.
