Starting Monday Fond du Lac Area Transit is cutting all extra routes during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. Buses will continue to run from 6:00am – 6:30pm. Passengers will only be able to board through the rear passenger door of the bus. ADA customers will still be able to board using the ramp via the front door. Transit will not charge a fare in hope of limiting any exposure to drivers or passengers. This will include both fixed route buses and handi-vans. In addition the bus shelter located at the corner of Rees and Macy Street is closed. Transit is also requesting the following from passengers:
1) Riders should only ride for essential reasons: work, medical, and nutrition
2) For your safety, please use the 6 foot social distancing rule
3) Drivers will not handle any items from passengers, this includes bus vouchers
As this situation is highly fluid, please be aware the bus service may change at any time. FDLAT continues to monitor local, state, and federal guidelines and will keep you informed.
