3-19-20 local unemployment rate up

The local unemployment rate is up in January.   The jobless rate in the city of Fond du Lac and Fond du Lac County was 3.7 percent in January up  a full percent  from December.  The Dodge County unemployment rate jumped from 3.1 to 4.1 percent.

3-19-20 evers declares scaling down of child care facilities

Gov. Tony Evers today directed Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to restrict the size of all child care settings. Centers may not operate with more than 10 staff present at a time and may not operate with more than 50 children present at a time.
