4-20-20 longtime fdl restaurant owner dies from covid-19

An iconic Fond du Lac restaurateur has died from COVID-19.  David Noe died Thursday at his winter home in Florida.  He was 74.  Sources told WFDL news Noe first became ill about two and a half weeks ago.    Noe was the owner of several popular, well-established Fond du Lac restaurants including Sebastian’s, Salty’s, and Friar Tucks.  He also previously owned Gino’s restaurant.   Noe is the fourth Fond du Lac County resident to die from the virus,  although his death is not officially recorded as a Fond  du Lac County coronavirus death because he died in Florida.   Meanwhile, there are 63 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac County.
