4-20-20 senator baldwin says there is still not adequate testing or personal protective equipment in place

todayApril 19, 2020

Wisconsin U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin says the governor’s Safer at Home order should not be lifted until the state has the ability to ramp up testing  and has adequate protective equipment in place.   On AM 1170s Between the Lines program, Baldwin says as of today we don’t have either.  “I just do not believe that we have the testing and personal protective equipment in place for the sort of re-opening that we’d all like to see, and that alarms me greatly,”  Baldwin told WFDL news.  Baldwin says there has been a total lack of a national strategy to assist in ramping up the ability of tests.  She says valuable time has been wasted where such a strategy could have already been in place.
