4-21-20 fdl county board race-recount

There was a slight change in the vote total, but not in who won the race following a recount for a Fond du Lac County Board seat.  When the votes were counted last Monday night Brooke Hills defeated incumbent Martin Schroeder in District 16 by eight votes.  Following the recount Monday Hills won 346 to 341.

4-21-20 high speed motorcycle chase

A 34 year old Fond du Lac man faces multiple charges following a high speed motorcycle chase.   Campbellsport police chief Tom Dornbrook says the chase started Sunday when a Campbellsport police officer pulled the motorcyclist over for speeding on Highway 67.    When the officer approached the motorcycle, the operator fled.   The nearly 21 mile long chase eventually continued on Interstate 41 north with speeds up to 110 miles an […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — There was new testing and protesting in Wisconsin Saturday as the number of COVID-19 cases in the state rose to nearly 4,200 and the death toll increased to 212. JUNEAU, Wis. (AP) — Fire crews have contained a wildfire that burned more than 200 acres in central Wisconsin. The fire broke out in Juneau County on the Necedah Wildlife Refuge.
