An iconic Fond du Lac restaurateur has died from COVID-19. David Noe died Thursday at his winter home in Florida. He was 74. A Fond du Lac County board supervisor is asking for a recount after losing a close race in the spring election. Challenger Brooke Hills defeated incumbent Martin Schroeder in the District 16 race 348 to 340 votes. The recount will be conducted on Monday.
The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer is rescinding her order that had closed all campgrounds in the county.
