Fond du Lac’s Marian University has announced that  Michelle Majewski, PsyD., has been named  Acting President.   Majewski, who earned a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Adler University, replaces Dr. Andrew Manion, who announced last week he was stepping down to pursue other opportunities.   Majewski previously served 29 years in a variety of roles at Marian, including full-time faculty member, chairperson, dean, and professor emerita. 4-9-20 coronavirus deaths in wisconsin nears 100

The number of coronavirus deaths in Wisconsin is near 100, as public health experts worry about a spike in cases due to the state holding its election on Tuesday.  The state Department of Health Services reported Wednesday that there had been 99 deaths from COVID-19 to date with nearly 2,800 confirmed cases. 4-9-20 covid-19 cases up by one in fdl county

There is one new positive COVID-19 case in Fond du Lac County.  That brings the total number of cases in the county to 49.   There are 17 active cases and 30 people have recovered.  There have been two deaths in Fond du Lac County from the coronavirus.
