Wisconsin’s top elections official Meagan Wolfe said Wednesday that the elections commission was working with the U.S. Postal Service to locate absentee ballots that never made it to voters in time for Tuesday's deadline, including three bins in the Oshkosh and Appleton area.   Wolfe said because absentee ballots had to be postmarked by Tuesday, those voters who didn't vote in person but not have any recourse.  Many people who showed up […]

4-9-20 semi fire shuts down i-41 in fdl county

The southbound lanes of Interstate 41 were closed for a few hours Wednesday afternoon after a semi-truck caught on fire.   Oakfield firefighters were called to the scene on southbound 41 near County Highway B over the noon hour.   The Interstate was reopened shortly after 3pm.
