4-8-20 fdl county public health officer issues public health order closing all campgrounds

The Fond  du Lac  County Public Health Officer has issued a new public health order closing all campgrounds in the county.   Kim Mueller says the decision was made because campgrounds draw people from outside the county, encourages non-essential travel, increases shopping at local stores for supplies and groceries and allows for congregating groups greater than ten people.   The Order will remain in effect as long as the Wisconsin Governor’s Safer at Home order […]

4-8-20 coronavirus death toll rises in wi

The number of deaths from the coronavirus in Wisconsin increased by 15 as reported Tuesday as voters were casting ballots in person at the polls statewide, despite an order to stay at home to avoid spreading the highly contagious disease.   The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported that deaths increased from 77 on Monday to 92 on Tuesday.
