5-23-20 fdl county fairgrounds aquatic center won’t open this summer

The Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds swimming pool will not be opening this summer.   The city of Fond du Lac says  unfortunately, due to lifeguard shortages, the Fairgrounds  Aquatic Center will not be able to open.  The City says it is working with the  Fond du Lac Recreation Department and the Fond du Lac County Health Department on a plan to possibly open Taylor Park  Pool in the near future.

5-22-20 construction worker dies at horicon school construction site

Horicon police say a construction worker died after being struck by falling debris at the Horicon Junior/Senior High School this week.   Police say the worker, a man  in his 30s, died Wednesday and  that no foul play is suspected.  The Occupation Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
