A UW Oshkosh statewide economic survey shows Wisconsin businesses continue to demonstrate resilience during the pandemic. Forty one percent of respondents to the survey indicate they have introduced or expanded online services over the last three months. Sixty percent of respondents say they have requested financial assistance and 52 percent have received aid. Only ten percent of respondents estimate being able to stay in business for less than three months …an increase in business survivability from previous surveys.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
