MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Kansas-based hunting advocacy group is suing to force the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to restart in-person hunter education courses. PULASKI, Wis. (AP) — State regulators say mismanagement at an assisted living facility in northeastern Wisconsin made a deadly coronavirus outbreak worse. Forty-six people have been infected by COVID-19, including 10 residents who died, at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski. 6-18-20 wisconsin panel gives final approval on absentee ballots

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Elections Commission has given final approval to a mailing that will put absentee ballot application forms in the hands of 2.7 million registered voters ahead of the November presidential election. 6-17-20 waupun’s volksfest cancelled

The Waupun Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that Volksfest has been cancelled this year due to the pandemic.  The Chamber says it plans to relaunch the German-inspired festival in 2021.   Meanwhile, the Waupun Farmers Market is happening as planned as is a Chamber Golf Outing that was rescheduled for late July.   The Farmers Market is held Saturday mornings from June through September.
