6-16-20 fire destroys barn in town of alto

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in Fond du Lac County.  Firefighters were called to the Allen Ehlts farm on Highway 49 in the town of Alto Monday afternoon for a fully engulfed barn fire.    The fire had spread to the barn from a nearby brush pile that had been smoldering.  No animals or fire fighters were injured during the fire. The barn is a total loss.
