6-15-20 fatal crash-green lake county

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a fatal three vehicle crash on Highway 23 near Green Lake.  The crash happened Friday on Highway 23 east of St. Marie Road  in the town of Brooklyn.   A preliminary investigation shows an SUV was westbound  on Highway 23 and crossed the centerline, striking the rear of a semi and then head-on into a sedan.  The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the […]

6-15-20 ripon woman drowns in kayaking accident

Authorities say a 57-year-old Ripon woman is dead after drowning in a kayaking accident Saturday on the Mecan River.   The Marquette County Sheriff's Office says 57 year old Tammi McCauley, was pronounced dead at the scene.   Authorities say McCauley was kayaking on the Mecan River with her sister at the time of the accident.  The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — University of Wisconsin System officials are offering campuses guidelines for re-opening this fall. The system released the guidelines Sunday. They call for putting classes of more than 50 students online, having a plan if coronavirus cases spike, re-evaluating dorm and dining hall operations, use of masks and placing students who share classes together in dorms.
