A Fox Lake man has died in a one vehicle crash in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly after 7am Sunday on state Highway 33. A preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle traveling northbound failed to negotiate a curve near Sunset Point Road, traveled into a ditch, continued across a lawn, striking the front of a house. A Fond du Lac man was rescued after his boat starting sinking on Lake Winnebago Sunday morning when the drain plug on the boat fell off. The Fond du Lac city council has approved a series of ordinances designed to protect children from sex offenders. At their meeting Wednesday night the council approved ordinances creating a child safety zone, prohibiting sexually violent persons from residing in Fond du Lac, unless they committed the crime in the city and creating an administrative appeals board to review any appeals of the ordinance.
