The Dodge County Fair has been cancelled due to COVID-19 health concerns.   The Fair Board says the Fair, scheduled for August 19-23,  is being cancelled because of a deep concern for the health and safety of the Dodge County Fair Community.   The Fair Board says the health and safety of all people associated with every aspect of the Fair is the top priority.

The Fond du Lac city council is considering a proclamation at their meeting Wednesday night declaring June as LGBTQ Pride month.    But members of the group United for Diversity say they have become aware of efforts to oppose the proclamation and have it removed from the council agenda.  Council president Brian Kolstad says he has received emails from residents who are say they are opposed to the proclamation based on religious grounds.  […]
