7-16-20 shortened fdl county fair starts thursday

A shortened  Fond du Lac County Fair gets underway Thursday with restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic.  Fair board secretary Matt Immel says the Fair Board discussed it’s options for several weeks to see if they could make it work.  Immel says he is confident steps that will be taken in terms of social distancing,  attendance and cleanliness will make the Fair safe for patrons.

HERMANSVILLE, Mich. (AP) — A popular four-day music festival in the Upper Peninsula has been canceled due to the coronavirus. The Woodtick Music Festival in Hermansville, west of Escanaba, had planned to have 30 bands on two stages, starting July 30. It would have been the 27th annual event.
