MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin abolitionist's descendants are asking state officials to reinstall the man's statue outside the state Capitol after protesters ripped it down last month. Col. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin hits another high in newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, breaking the record for the third day in a row. The state Department of Health Services reported 926 new confirmed cases, a day after there were 845 new positives. 7-13-20 fdl county public health officer says entire families are testing positive for covid-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic the Fond du Lac Back to School program is asking for monetary donations this year instead of supplies.    Registration for the program will also undergo a significant change as families will no longer be required to sign up in person. The city of Fond du Lac is holding a Household Hazardous Waste disposal program this month.   The drop-off will be held from 2pm to 6pm Tuesday, July 21 at the Municipal Service Center on Doty Street.  This is a free service for city of Fond du Lac  residents only.  You can check for a list of items that will be accepted and not accepted on the city of Fond du Lac website.

7-13-20 baker cheese wins award

Baker Cheese has been named the 2020 Dairy Plant of the Year by the national trade publication Dairy Foods.   The St. Cloud based cheese manufacturer was one of 12 dairy processing plants throughout the United States nominated for the award.  Baker Cheese received the most votes in a five week long online promotion.   The nominated plants were featured in the publication over the last year and a half.  Baker Cheese’s cover story highlighted […]
