7-27-20 serious injury crash-fdl county

7-27-20 wisconsin coronavirus cases

Wisconsin has recorded more than 1,000 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases for a third day out of the past four. The latest figures Friday from the state Department of Health Services continue a spike in cases that began in mid-June and shows few signs of slowing. Fond du Lac Public Works says  East 9 th Street between Lloyd Street and Martin Avenue will be closed next week.  The closure will begin Monday, July 27 and remain closed until the end of the day Friday, July  31.  The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore two water services on East 9 th Street.

With the cancellation of Walleye Weekend this year due to the coronavirus pandemic , Fond du Lac Festivals has announced  some new “distanced” events planned for next month.   Fond du Lac Festivals is planning for the first Virtual Walleye Run/Walk,  Virtual Family Fishing Tournament and a Drive in Movie.   The Lakeside Triple Feature will be held on three nights at Lakeside Park at the end of August.
