WINTER, Wis. (AP) — The search for a missing toddler in northern Wisconsin has ended with her safe return.The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office confirmed 3-year-old Abby Ladwig has been found. 8-12-20 hazardous materials spill beaver dam

Nobody was injured following a hazardous materials leak at the Animart facility in Beaver Dam.    Tuesday morning firefighters received a report  that formaldehyde was leaking from a damaged 275 gallon tote container inside the facility.  The Animart facility was evacuated by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.  On scene assistance was provided by the Dodge county Hazardous Materials Team,  and Fox Lake and Juneau Fire Departments. 8-12-20 covid-19 deaths top 1,000 statewide

More than 1,000 people have died in Wisconsin since the coronavirus pandemic began in the state six months ago. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported Tuesday that there were 61,785 confirmed cases and 1,006 deaths.   There are eight COVID-19 deaths in Fond du Lac County with one more death reported Tuesday.   The statewide death count is the 28th highest in the country overall and the 37th highest per capita […]
