(AP) — Wisconsin elections officials say voters have requested more than 900,000 absentee ballots for Tuesday's primary, more than seven times what they requested in the last August primary in 2018. MILWAUKEE (AP) — A boy and the man who tried to save him in Lake Michigan have died while a another young swimmer was rescued. 8-11-20 record number of covid-19 cases in fdl county over the weekend

Fond du Lac County has recorded the highest number of positive COVID-19 cases in a weekend since the pandemic began.   Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says  there were 50 new cases reported over the weekend, including eight additional cases Friday afternoon, 33 cases Saturday and Sunday and nine Monday.   There are 679 total positive cases in the county,  166 active cases, eight people are hospitalized and there have been seven deaths.  […]
