8-21-20 coronavirus cases at green bay prison

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — State officials say 57 people have tested positive for the coronavirus at the Green Bay Correctional Institution. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections says all of the prisoners who have tested positive are being isolated and anyone who was exposed is being quarantined. 8-21-20 fdl man charged in death of child

A Fond du Lac man has been charged in connection with the death of a child who died six years after he allegedly struck her  in the head.  Twenty nine year old Thomas Abitz Junior is scheduled to make his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Monday on a charge of first degree reckless homicide.   The victim suffered a traumatic head injury in 2011, and died in 2017.   A doctor who specializes in child abuse […]

8-21-20 mobile home fire-beaver dam

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Beaver Dam.  Firefighters from several departments battled the blaze on Forest Road.  Two residents who were inside when the fire started were able to escape through a bedroom window.  There was minor damage to the adjacent mobile home and to 3 vehicles parked nearby.    Two firefighters received minor injuries.
