9-10-20 waupun city budget

Waupun city officials say they are developing a conservative budget in an attempt to hold the tax rate down amid the coronavirus pandemic.  City administrator Kathy Schlieve says the pandemic has already had an impact as the city develops it’s budget.  “We saw revenues lost from room tax dollars generated, interest income was down and other fees that were lost through the process,”  Schlieve told WFDL news.  Schlieve says the city is anticipating less revenue from the state.  She says capital expenditures will also likely be impacted.
