9-30-20 construction to begin soon on lakeside park pavilion renovation

Construction on a renovated Fond du Lac Lakeside Park pavilion is expected to begin soon.   Public Works director Jordan Skiff says Capelle Brothers and Diedrich were selected as the low bid contractor for the project.  Skiff says the contract will be awarded soon followed by actual construction. The renovation project is taking place after the council reversed an earlier council decision to replace the pavilion with a much larger, new facility that would have included an indoor eating area, expanded meeting space, and Centennial Plaza.
