9-19-20 rescue personnel respond to separate crashes on hwy 151

A Wisconsin National Guard major says it’s heartbreaking to see footage from the wildfires raging across western states. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin wildlife officials estimate the number of wolves in the state has increased by about 13% from last year. The state Department of Natural Resources said Thursday that surveys put the overwinter population between 1,034 to 1,057 wolves. The 2018-19 estimate was 914 to 978 wolves. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Health officials say 42 players and staff with the Wisconsin football team have tested positive for COVID-19 as the Big Ten makes plans to get the season started. The Fond du Lac city council has added $2.5 million to the City’s Capital Improvement Plan next year  for the Lakeside Park alternate master plan.   Councilmember Dan Degner made the motion at a special meeting Wednesday night during discussion of the city budget and capital improvement program.  The vote was four to two with council president Brian Kolstad and councilmember Kay Miller voting against.   Councilmember Ben Giles abstained.   Degner says the money can be used […]
