9-14-20 agnesian healthcare foundation charity open

The  Agnesian HealthCare Foundation’s Charity Open has surpassed it’s fundraising goal.   This year’s virtual event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic,  raised just over $300,000 topping the $250,000 goal.  The money goes to the Hospice Home of Hope.  In 2019 , just under 1,000 hospice patients in the Fond du Lac and surrounding communities received hospice care with 30 percent of these patients receiving financial assistance for the length of their care - approximately 65 days on […]

9-12-20 reeseville highway shop open house

The Dodge County Highway Commission is hosting an open house at the new Reeseville Highway shop on North Main Street Saturday.  The open house is being held from 10am to noon.    Residents are welcome to stop in for a tour of the new  facility.  Highway Committee members and Highway Department staff will be present to greet visitors and answer questions.

9-12-20 oshkosh man charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from elderly nursing home resident

An Oshkosh man is accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from an elderly nursing home resident.  Attorney General Josh Kaul says 58 year old Terry Lynn Culver is accused of stealing over $427,000 from a 92-year-old resident of a nursing home, while acting as a power of attorney for the victim.  The charges are the result of a joint elder abuse and tax fraud investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Wisconsin Department […]
