The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have outlined who should be among the first people to get a coronavirus vaccine. The CDC sent out a guidance to officials in all 50 states last week about the possibility of rolling out a vaccine by late October or early November. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies made 13 OWI arrests during the recent Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. In addition to arresting drunken drivers deputies issued 142 speeding tickets, and made 20 drug-related arrests between August 21 and Labor Day.

The new SSM Health Clinic in Beaver Dam is on schedule to open in February of next year. Construction crews have begun roofing work to enclose the 40,000 square foot clinic for interior work over the winter.
